Really good I liked that we had the guy Anthony that speaks good Spanish he was very charming and really nice and respectful.
This was a small group tour with Dexter, a fantastic guide. He knows everyone and everything. He told great stories. I thought my adult son would tolerate the tour for me, he prefers to explore on his own. Instead it ended up being his favorite part of our visit. I would encourage everyone to take one of Go Niagara Tours. If we get to visit again, I'll surely take another tour. Everyone was extremely nice and pickup at the hotel was perfect.
It's a Humbling and awe inspiring experience to feel and hear to power of the falls. I think the price is reasonable based on the overhead involved to maintain boats. Our Guide Anthony (walking tour) was great with passing on facts. I do wish he had a voice amplifier as it was hard to hear him over the roar of the falls and in crowds. Wear sandals, as your feet will get wet. After the tour we did our own walk to the places not part of the tour. All in all a 6.1 mile day, and well worth the time to get up close to the top of the falls. While service dog friendly, I would not take our Border Collie on board a tour boat like this. I think she would be terrified. Conversations with the tour company were pleasant and helpful (They had an issues with my 2:30pm guide, and we had to reschedule a different time, not a big deal).
Enjoyed Niagara Falls, NY State Park and the beautiful views. Thought the price I paid for the tour $235.44 (2 people) was way too much. The tour included Mist Boat trip, Wind Cave and walked guide which would have cost approximately $45 per person if done on my own. All the other sites along the walking tour were free. The tour guide was informative, but you could have read the same information along the route from signs along the park. The walk was tiresome (3.5 miles). We could have taken the State Park Trolley, for $5 per person. Trolley included several stops thru out the park up until 10pm ($5 per day). You can get on and off at several of the stops at any time. Bottom line, we paid $235.44 and could have done same on our own for approximately $100 (Boat trip $30, Wind Cave $15, and All Day Trolley ride ($5). Before signing up for tours, do some research, I wish I had!!
The walking tour is not the tour to go to the cave, it is vague on the app. The actual price for the boat is 30$ and you can just walk in and buy one, have a ticket prior doesnt give you any benefits, you still have to wait in line. I paid 60$ per person thinking it included the cave, so I guess I lost 60$. The cave is only $23
I wish that the Viator Site went more in depth with the description of the differences in the tours. Had I know what I know now I would’ve skipped the walking tour and took the cave tour or NO TOUR AT ALL. The walking tour gives you a some info on the Falls, like what bodies of water flow into or makeup the falls. It was interesting but unnecessary. We chose 2 pm and we didn’t get on the boat till 4pm AND the tour doesn’t have its on skip line area!!! So you take the walking tour on the way to the line for maid of the mist which is an extremely long line. I literally paid extra money to find out 3 Niagara Falls facts that I could’ve googled and found out and SAVED TIME. The tour guide did his job it just wasn’t worth all of that to me
It was wonderful. I'm even at a loss for words. The boat took us right up close to the waterfall. It was an exceptional experience. I even want to go back on my next vacation.
The boat tour is $30 if you go there without a pre-purchased ticket. This walking tour is a complete scam; all our tour guide did was walk us from the welcome center to the boat tour and walk us to goat island. He was a nice guy, but it was definitely a waste of money.
We arrive 10 minutes early and had to wait an extra 20 minutes past departure time for other people in the trip. Then we had to walk to a different area to find them. There no walking tour of any sort. Should’ve bought directly from the maiden on the mist.
The ride was much fun and well organized. The tourguide provided valuable information, especially with regards to the best place in the boat. I would recommend this tour.
