This tour was fine - if you just want to ride the boat skip this tour. Our tour guide Greg was great but we just wanted to ride the boat. Didn’t realize this was a long tour
Very short ride. I expected more. Drizzle and mist. The photos are every bit as good. Our guide was very nice but didn't add as much. I could have just paid for the boat ride.
Very very stressful trying to find where this tour starts. For anyone that is due to go on this THEY MEET ON A BENCH OPPOSITE COMFORT HOTEL OUTSIDE THE PARK GATES. All the other tour operators are really rude if you ask them where 5 star yours are and reception of the hotel just lie. Maids of the mist is awesome but next time I would just pay direct as it’s cheaper.
It was thunder storming but the boats operate regardless. I tried to call about their weather restrictions but only ever got voicemail. The kiosk was easy to find. Everyone was very cheerful and pleasant. Our leader tried to keep us from getting too drenched but there really wasn’t anything that he could do. The only complaint that I had was (especially due to the weather) it would have been REALLY nice to have our water ponchos at check in. We actually didn’t get them until right before we got on the boat and by then we were already thoroughly drenched!! Also due to the rain and rushing to get from point A to point B we barely heard any of the history/information our guide was sharing. His microphone was also cutting in and out. They made the best of the situation.
Sherrie, Paul and Angelah provided us with a wealth of information about the history of the Falls as well as how best to position ourselves on the boat to see them.
AWESOME addition to our trip to Niagara Falls! Peter let us know right where to meet up for the start of the tour. He greeted us warmly and let us know what to expect. Jennifer took it from there and was completely amazing as she led the group through the park. She was entertaining as well as informative. Very personable and patient as she shared her knowledge of the park and the general area, giving pointers on everything from where to take the best photos to places of interest in the park and nearby. Her expertise made the whole experience run smoothly. She went above and beyond to extend first-class treatment to us all, making each of us feel like a VIP.
Paul was an awesome tour guide, very insightful and provided a lot of detail and information. Had a really great time. Provided additional things to do around the area, was going to do the whirlpool, but we were so tired needed to go to hotel and rest.
The Maid of the Mist boat tour was awesome! Seeing and going under the radar in this falls was amazing, BUT when looking at the itinerary on Trip advisor the “what to expect” sections states that the boat starts on American side, travels into Canadian side, and then ends back in America, and when I asked the tour guide, Peter, if we went into the Canadian side he said no because you would need a passport.
The tour was amazing, the sites shown and attention to detail along with historical information shared was awesome. The guides where friendly and entertaining. Would recommend to anyone coming to see Niagara Falls
The boat ride was excellent. Got wetter than expected but it was fun. Very impressive views of the falls.
